Lets be honest I am 100% beach girl, as in ocean, and I don't particularly like lakes to swim in but for Lake Powell I will make an exception any time! It is one of my favorites places in the world to take a weekend getaway. The crystal clear waters, the beautiful rock formations, the stunning blue skies, amazing sunsets/sunrises, white sandy secluded beaches and great places to hike or climb, if you love that kind of stuff, I am more into soaking up the sun, relaxing, swimming and a bit of exploring, are only a few of the reasons why I love Lake Powell. Plus its so hot, I get to hang out in a bikini most of the time. ;) Its perfect! What is your favorite weekend getaway?
