Tuesday Top Oscar Looks

The Oscars 2013 were not short of glamour as Hollywood's finest walked the red carpet in the fashion world's most beautiful gowns....but my favorite Oscar looks come from the "after parties"...here are my picks!!!

Alessandra Ambrosio- in a STUNNING Zuhair Murad  gold beaded gown (LOVE HIS GOWNS). She looks amazingly BEAUTIFUL one of my faves!!!

Amanda Seyfried- looks lovely in a Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown.

Ginnifer Goodwin- in a Monique Lhuillier blue sequin dress and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Hilary Swank- wore a Valentino scarlet tulle gown from the spring/summer 2013 couture collection with a white box-clutch bag. 

 

 

                   

Lily Collins- chose a Zuhair Murad lace and sequin dress.

Zoe Saldana- in a Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci spring/summer 2013 black design.

Miranda Kerr-wore a Valentino silk gown, styled with glamorous side swept curls, a Jimmy Choo clutch and a slick of red lipstick, with husband Orlando Bloom - who wore a Saint Laurent tuxedo. Another power couple when it comes to style and Fashion. They look stunning!

Kate Boswoth- in an embroidered floral mini dress from the Giambattista Valli spring/summer 2013 couture collection with Casadei sandals.

Diane Kruger-  wore a Giambattista Valli Couture dress with boyfriend Joshua Jackson, who wore a Berluti tuxedo. AMAZING style these two!!!

Natalie Portman- looked elegant in a Dior white satin column dress with emerald green earrings.

Jennifer Lawrence-  in a Calvin Klein Collection silver dress.

Oliva Munn- in a Versace Atelier side-split blush pink embellished gown

 

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley- wore a antique rose one-shouldered silk tiered gown from the Valentino autumn/winter 2013 couture collection. She is always one of my favorites!!!

Tuesday Top Ten Oscars 2012 Looks

1. Rooney Mara
Gliding along the red carpet like an elegant ghost, Rooney Mara's Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gown possessed all the ingredients of her signature style: plunging neckline, breathtaking craftsmanship, accentuated with a graceful posture and as little bling as humanly possible.

 

2. Michelle Williams
It takes a brave woman to wear a blood-red, peplum dress and clash it with a pink clutch - all whilst possessing a porcelain skin tone - but Michelle Williams triumphed in this ruffled Louis Vuitton number.

3. Stacey Keibler
George Clooney's latest squeeze looked like a Hollywood siren in this gold lamé gown by Marchesa. "I was at New York Fashion Week and I went to the Marchesa show," she explained. "I saw this dress on the runway and I was like, I need to have that dress." We couldn't agree more. 

4. Milla Jovovich
Model turned actress Milla Jovovich said she wanted a gown that was "very clean and structured, without being overpowering." Could she have done any better than this asymmetric Elie Saab gown? Rather than washing her out, the white sequins and beads provided a dramatic luminosity.

 


5. Gwyneth Paltrow 
A vision in white, Paltrow positively glowed in a dramatic design by her close friend Tom Ford. A master class in impeccable tailoring and 'no thanks' to fussy embellishment if ever we saw one. Go Gwyneth!  

6. Angelina Jolie
 Vampish in black velvet, Jolie's Atelier Versace gown was just that: extremely 'jolie' and decadently sexy.

  

7. Rose Byrne
Shining like a dazzling disco ball, we bring you Rose Byrne, in Vivienne Westwood. We hope she got to throw a few shapes in this dress…

8. Emma Stone
A red-head who rocks a pink red - you've got to hand it to Emma Stone. Spookily, we predicted Natalie Portman in this Giambattista Valli design, but Stone has effortlessly made it her own. 

 

 9. Li Bing Bing
Chinese actress and singer Li Bing Bing looked resplendent in this strapless white gown. The coquettish sheer panel snaking up the side of the leg had nothing desperate about it either. Oh, and can anyone believe that this woman is actually 38?!

10. Cameron Diaz
What better than an off-white strapless number by Gucci to show off one's amazing arms/ shoulders/ chest/ décolletage…? What's even more annoying is that we know Diaz has an amazing set of pins under there, so top marks for eschewing a thigh-high split a la Jolie and playing one's pins down.
