Bandida

{Via}

Brazilian fashion model Isabeli Fontana appears in 'Bandida' for Vogue Spain February 2012 as photographed by Alexi Lubomirski and styled by Belén Antolín. Fontana is an outlaw with a penchant for couture in an editorial which features guns and rifles....I'm loving the cowgirl look with a Spanish flavor. You? A bit of Latin influence makes everything extra hot...of course I am a tad biased...lol! Have a great weekend!

LookBook Crush: California Girl By Nasty Gal

{Via}

Love this LookBook by Nasty Gal! The January LookBook features the upcoming Spring/Summer looks from Nasty Gal. The collection is very beachy, with a breadth of bright colors and flirty tanks. Memorable pieces include a Joplin-inspired fringe kimono, an Aztec beaded clutch and fringed ankle booties. Also included is a line of geometric accessories with turquoise detailing. Nasty Gal is an awesome company: all of its products are handpicked vintage finds. The pieces are chosen for style, wear ability and quality. To legitimize the company’s claim on uniqueness, each article comes with an individual history and influence. Nasty Gal allows the clothing as much personality as the fashionista wearing it. The Nasty Gal January LookBook is a skip into summer with feminine vintage pieces and modern quality. {Via}

I am a bit cuckoo for accessories...its such an easy way to make an outfit pop!  Here are a few of my favorites. I love color (I think its that portuguese in me) especially turquoise, blues, browns are always my go to for nail polish. But I think most importantly when picking accessories, keep it personal and tasteful. Wear pieces that mean something to you. Keep it tasteful...pick ONE statement piece...sometimes too much of a good thing can turn bad quickly.

"A woman's relationship with her accessories is important and elemental. She should choose her accessories as she chooses her friends, seeking out the ones that complement who she is, let her have fun, make her confident she she walks down the street, and stick by her trough her ups and downs, her men and her extra pounds. Because your accessories like your friends tell the world who you are." by Jenny Lopez
