MONDAY MUSE: TALITHA GETTY

MONDAY MUSE: TALITHA GETTY

"I am not the same having seen the moon shine on the other side of the world." - Mary Anne Radmacher

In the late 60's fashion icon Talitha Getty consistently looked the part of hippie gypset in colorful prints, kaftans, and furs, her Boho-Chic style and Moroccan influences set her apart from the rest, a style that has inspired modern-day muses such as Sienna Miller and Kate Moss.

"Go on set with Freja Beha Erichsen in the exotic Moroccan desert as Kate Moss, the stylist on the June issue shoot, talks about her Moroccan inspirations and love of all things Seventies in this short film by Glen Luchford" - Vogue

"I think Marrakech is really inspiring because of its falling beauty. I love it because of its decadence. It's the richness of the colors, gardens and the buildings." - Kate Moss

Happy Friday! Have an amazing Memorial Day weekend!!! ;)

Morocco Magic

Morocco Magic

I can't get over these stunning photos, shot for Billabong's Fall 2014 ad campaign by Brydie Mack.  With glittery waters, wedding blankets, romantic courtyards, colorful mosaics, Riads and souks, Mack captures in perfection the essence of one of my favorite and most inspiring places to visit, Morocco! A beautiful photo shoot in a truly magical place. Enjoy, have an amazing weekend!

“I stand in a portico hung with gentian-blue ipomeas … and look out on a land of mists and mysteries; a land of trailing silver veils through which domes and minarets, mighty towers and ramparts of flushed stone, hot palm groves and Atlas snows, peer and disappear at the will of the Atlantic cloud drifts.”

–Edith Wharton, In Morocco
