Travel: Mi Amor

Mi Amor

Mi Amor

Love is in the air and If you are dreaming of the perfect romantic getaway, warm sun, turquoise waters, white sandy beaches and a salty margarita, I have found the perfect place for you! Mi Amor Boutique Hotel, located in beautiful Tulum, Mexico. Stunningly designed rooms with spectacular views will make you want to stay forever. ;)

But for those who would like to leave the comfort of the hotel in search of adventure or just sightseeing, Tulum offers a huge variety of activities. From getting close to nature with guided jungle tours visiting Ruins and Cenotes, to fun water sports, or deep sea fishing, shopping for wonderful arts and crafts from the region, to dinning and sampling the wonderful exquisite cuisine from the area. You definitely won't be bored!

Cenote Exploration

The Yucatan is spotted with underground sinkholes formed by water percolating through the soft limestone of the region, resulting in delightful snorkeling and diving explorations in the numerous area cenotes, some deep and mysterious and others much like swimming ponds frequented by locals.

Mayan Ruins

Take a day exploring the ancient Mayan cities with their pyramid temples, observatories, and ball courts. Tulum ruins are only a 20 min walk from Mi Amor. Coba is a 40 min drive, and Chichen Itza and Ek Balam are full day trips but worth it! Combine it as a tour to see some Cenotes and eat lunch in a traditional Mayan village.

Scuba, Kiteboarding and SUP

For water sports enthusiasts of the non motorized category Tulum has a lot to offer. Diving on the second largest reef in the world and also in the cenotes, kiteboarding lessons, stand up paddleboarding and snorkeling trips can all be arranged by your Mi Amor concierge.

Dining and Nightlife

Tulum is growing as a culinary destination. There are many great and interesting restaurants to choose from covering elegant gourmet seafood, to authentic Italian and Thai and of course the wonderful flavors of Mexico. Whether you are looking to dine in one of Tulum's hip beachfront restaurants or grab a taco on the run, your concierge will be able to give you all the tips you need. While for most nights Tulum remains sleepy, there are late night bars in the Pueblo, and of course don't miss La Zebra's famous Sunday night salsa party.
I don't know about you...but I am ready to book my ticket today! ;)
Here is a little sample of what I would pack!!!
